Field Experience with Automated Commissioning Tools in Both Remote and Local Commissioning of Active Magnetic Bearing Systems

This paper describes field experience with 3rd generation AMB automated commissioning tools. This covers experience on “first of class” machinery on sites where both AMB specialists were present using the automated commissioning tools and other installations where no AMB specialist was present and all commissioning was conducted by remote guidance of local non-specialist staff and remote use of automated commissioning tools.
