Dynamic Analysis of the Permanent Magnetic Bearing-Rotor System

The permanent magnetic bearings have many advantages: simple structure, free-friction, low-cost, etc. They can make up various magnetic bearing systems with mechanical bearings or electromagnetic bearings combined, thus have broad prospects. In the paper, the permanent magnet bearings - rigid rotor dynamics model is established. The stiffness matrix is built based on the equivalent electricity model and the preliminary dynamic analysis of permanent magnet bearing-rotor system is drawn. It laid a good foundation for the further researches on permanent magnetic bearing-rotor system.
