Frequency Domain Modeling Of Non-Laminated C-Shaped Magnetic Actuators
This paper employs the modeling approach previously introduced by the authors in [1] to derive an analytic model for eddy currents in a non-laminated Cshaped magnetic actuator. Due to the complexity of the original analytic model, an approximation is carried out to yield a half order simplified model. A comparison between the frequency responses of the analytic models and the results from finite element analysis demonstrates good agreement.
