In this paper a comparison of experimental frequency response functions (FRFs) obtained in a small-scale Active Magnetic Bearing (AMB) test rig at several rotating speeds is made, in order to assess the gyroscopic and shaft unbalances effects in practical identification procedures. The excitation frequencies used in this work were established below the critical speed (rigid rotor behavior) and a broadband signal is used as excitation input.
