Comparison of Different Control Concepts for Bearingless Brushless Motors
Bearingless motors offer various advantages compared to classical motors with mechanical bearings. However, they make great demands on the control algorithms. Due to the availability of very fast low-cost DSP, a lot of new control strategies can be implemented, which offer a lot of different benefits. In this paper, various control algorithms are compared regarding adequate criteria.
